The Science Shop is located in the William McCool Science Center on the campus of Frank J. Lamping Elementary School. The center was built using private donations with the goal of excellence in public science education. Hands-on science instruction takes place in the center on a daily basis and the center is open for field trips and science camps for elementary school aged children in Clark County, Nevada. The center is home to science labs, comuter labs, a space shuttle simulator, paleontology dig area, desert gardens and animal habitats.
A non-profit through the Clark County Public Education Foundation, the Science Shop is run by volunteers and so overhead is kept low. Proceeds go towards science supplies and programs in the William McCool Science Center. We sincerely appreciate your support for bringing hands-on science excitement to young children!
Visit the William McCool Science Center website for more information on the center.
